In our second book, "When Tomorrow Hesitates", the follow up to the award winning "the CLOUD that fell from the sky," the use of abstract visuals by Francis George to interpret the writing by Judy Choi and Phoenix Brown continues. In "SATEEN" the image imbues a ribbon like quality in order to demonstrate the continuity of love. If frayed, torn or cut, that love can become fragile and unravel. Love, when preserved, can also be resolute and hold together individuals. What complicates love is that there is a choice regarding whether to tie or untie that ribbon and that choice is sometimes in the hands of another. The photographic work in that collection is not manipulated and comes straight from the camera and then color corrected. Each print is signed in the back by the photographer. That artwork will be included in a coffee table book published by Tigrefou Editions due later in 2019.
