The work was inspired by the destruction and disregard for natural world. We have become detached from things that can help us and bring us peace without asking for anything in return. At first the viewer see's a rich patch of wild plant life and they might dismiss if they were seeing it in real life. They are asked to study it a little more. They might realise there are nettles among the leafs and although so common these are very useful for their healing properties. At some point they will notice the small red dot. This is symbolic of the red dot placed near artwork when it has been sold. Here it is saying nature has been sold.
