Remarkably, this photo was taken with an iPhone 4. It is one of my earliest shots from the time I started to get passionate about photography, 2012. I was in Nosara, Costa Rica, doing a restorative retreat at the beach. The patterns in the sand, carved by ocean waves, and only ever present for seconds or a few minutes till the next wave washes them away, fascinated me. I took many photos of this scene, but this one stirred my soul the most. It is very meditative when hanging on a wall and blends well with other art, particularly old landscape oils. It is a dye sublimation print on aluminum.
