Snowfall - Limited Edition 1 of 1 Photograph

My name is Grigory Pil. I live in Syktyvkar, Russia. My interest in photography started already during childhood (my mother was a fond amateur photographer itself, spending much time developing and printing photos in her darkroom). As for myself I started to work with photography in 2005. Now I am working as a professional photographer, photographing private events, fashion and commercial. Some of my photographs are also presented on the microstock websites. However, I am also interested in another kind of photography. For me, it is really interesting to feel and catch the mood of the time. To capture that particular moment that represent the essence of the situation. I believe though, that it takes more "time" to give the right value to a photograph and it is not enough to consider photography just as a documentation of the present moment. Images matures in time...like good wine. This is my mission and my job: saving those images that will, one day, perceived as history. I am also very interested to discover and photographs those timeless moments, those transitions instants that represent a crossroad in our daily life...
