During a fierce blizzard as is common in these parts , a sudden calm set in & the sun popped out for a minute , just to shed a beam on Snaefellsjokulls smaller brother Stapafell , The clarity of the air was significant as is the case in freezing temperatures ,as water vapour freezes out & cannot be held in the atmosphere making for clear images . taken about a mile away leaning on my car bonnet !
