Summer Morning (Limited Edition of 24) Photograph

Another warm August day beginning with a white-blue dream of a sky, 2015. I try to capture (!?) the original sky’s grandeur in my Skies-Series experimenting with aperture and shutter speed and also trying to capture the specific structure of each of these wonderful skies. Even though I use a digital camera, I do not believe in post-shoot-editing for my Skies-Series: all photographs are as shot, no alterations, not even cropping. I chose a canvas print for this dreamy morning sky. The canvas has a matte, textured surface transporting calm and tranquility. The print is an 8-color pigment print with K3 ink on a Berger canvas (360g/m²) that is mounted on a 1.57’’ (40 mm) solid wood stretcher frame. The image is mirrored on the edges of the canvas so that the print extends around the edges of the frame. This print is part of a limited edition of twenty-four prints. Additionally, there is one artist's print. Each print is hand signed and numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity, which is printed on Hahnemühle premium deckle edged paper with watermark and fluorescent security fibers. Both the artwork and the certificate of authenticity have an identical serialized numbered hologram ensuring that each certificate belongs to one particular photo print only.
