""Surrender"" Photograph

Kyle Sullivan first discovered a passion for photography 12 years ago in Minneapolis, MN doing fashion photography. Since then he has been shooting fashion nudes and fine art in Huntington Beach, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Photography quickly became a way to capture his own unique art in a medium he loves; Natural light or available light and being adventurous in nature. He was inspired by the works of Helmut Newton, Ellen Von Unwerth, Miles Schuster, Arthur Elgort and Peter Lindbergh. In particular to the storytelling and intrigue of their photos.

Kyle developed a burning drive to become the best at his craft. He doesn't feel quite right if a day goes by without shooting. Even if he isn't shooting his mind is constantly on his next photo shoot and how he can improve and learn. When he's on a photo shoot there's nowhere else he'd rather be. This is what he was meant to do. To capture and share his authentic art and his lens with the world.

In September 2023 he traveled to Sivota, Greece to study under a master photographer Vassilis Pitoulis. This gave him a new way of viewing photography and a totally different perspective on the art.

Kyle favors a fusion of fashion and nude photography. He loves the vulnerability and empowerment captured in his shots. Yet at the same time there is also a certain freedom in baring yourself for everyone to see without shame. He empowers his models to freely express all of their beauty and to truly hold them in amazement through the true sight of his lens.
