ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In this work you almost enter the space of the cave itself - however the lie is exposed, as you constantly aware that it’s only a piece of paper. The color of the cave – the blue is related to the sign of holy sites in Israel/Palestine. Traditionally, graves of holy people are marked in blue – against evil eye – and those graves are usually in caves like this one. The cave also function as a scroll – a bible.

Born in 1984 in Israel. Lives and works in Israel/Palestine and London, where she finished her MA at the RCA. Her solo exhibition ‘Introduction’ took place at Hamidrasha, Beit Berl, 2010. Selected group exhibitions from 2013 include Laboratory Austria, in the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna and Exile (part of "Host and Guest"), Tel Aviv Museum. Prizes include: New Sensations 2013 Finalist, Metro Imaging - RCA Award , 2013, Google photography prize – Israel, 2012, Constance Fairness Foundation Prize, 2011, Keren Sharet Scholarship 2006-2007, and Honor award at the Photography Department, Bezalel 2006-2008.
