ABOUT THE ARTWORK
On a very early and misty morning in Venice, I decided to shoot the sunrise over the Grand Canal. At 5 o clock in the morning there are no tourists and I could only see a few cleaning ladies, cleaning the cobblestones before the mass started to come in. It was very misty and cold as I came closer to the Rialto Bridge. When I arrived at the bridge there was no sun to be found, but only a thick layer of mist. When suddenly this boat appeared. Image size is: 60x 80 cm. This photo is printed on Hahnemuhle museum etching paper. Prints in this size are in limited editions of five, signed, numbered and dated.
