Spontaneous and unpolished, the work of Los Angeles born and raised photographer Scott Tillett reveals a vivid perspective of the city and its inhabitants through breathtaking visual renderings. The son of a graphic designer, Scott developed an eye for artistry at a young age and introduced himself to the world as a young Los Angeles graffiti artist, circa 1992. Today he continues to push the limits of artistic expression, using light and time to expose the raw emotion within his subjects. Though the medium has changed, Tillett's current work uses the same contrasting and complimentary design elements to allure his audience by revealing provocative nuances in the seemingly mundane. Inspired by the artistry of life's imperfections, Tillett notes, "We rush from place to place each day looking for beauty in our lives. Ironically, it is only when we stop for a moment that we can actually see it."
