The Traveler - Limited Edition of 8 Photograph

There really WAS a time when travelling by air was an occasion to dress-up! AND, if you were an airline's "Frequent Flyer" you were welcomed like royalty. I re-created that Golden Era of air travel by combining a photograph I took of an elegantly vintage-dressed young man (complete with hat) in my studio and photo-composited his image onto a photograph I had taken of a vintage plane that was part of an exhibition. I then selectively coloured the image to reflect the faded look of vintage photographs. I used a NIKON F80 film camera with Tri-X 400 35mm film. I love the intensity of the film grain in Tri-X films. All my photos are available for purchase as numbered Limited Edition full colour prints. I print on archival 100% cotton fine art matte CANSON Rag 300 gsm paper with Giclée pigment ink for best lasting colour and saturation. Each print is numbered and signed and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity for provenance. Prints are carefully rolled with tissue paper and shipped in a tube worldwide.
