ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A location photo session with 'The Wedding Present' in Leeds UK, 1991. I try not to get personal with my selection, but this band did produce an album that I still play every now and then and enjoy as much now as I did 30 years ago. Check out the album 'Seamonsters' for 90's angst/anger/heartache and love, all done in their own special way! Limited 'Collectors Edition' black and white print. This Saatchi website image has a watermark for the internet view, but the print will obviously NOT have the copyright wording across it. Prints are high-resolution scans from my Hasselblad black and white negatives. They are printed on natural white (very slightly warm based) fine-art paper. The paper is a Cotton Rag 315gsm heavyweight Natural White Matte. The image size is approx. 39 x 39cm on A2 paper to allow a small white border for future framing. (The actual paper size is 42 x 59.4cm) The print is signed and numbered on the front by myself.

I have spent my life immersed in the creative arts. The first part of my career was as a busy self-employed photographer within the music and film industries, working with an array of underground and high profile musicians and actors. After a decade or so and having achieved my initial goals, I felt a calling to the more tranquil world of garden and plant photography. I now combine this with my third and current phase, a desire from as far back as I can remember, to explore art and painting. I paint textural abstract spaces, primarily inspired by music and nature. It is my own creative journey, an organic ever-evolving process. Interpretation of the final result is left to the viewer. I continue to enjoy and develop what I do and have received awards for both my photography and art.
