ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In December 2017 I had a total breakdown, with panic attacks and subsequent agoraphobia. I eventually was diagnosed with clinical depression and medicated. This series attempts to represent that year, when I wasn't really there.

I'm a fine art photographer based between Argentina and Italy. I grew up in Rome, surrounded by Catholic and Baroque iconography whose influence has been inevitable in my visual universe. The glorification of suffering and the obsession with feminine virginal purity are themes that in one way or another reappear in my work. I have always been fascinated by the human body, its plasticity and power of representation and how we can tell stories with a gesture of the hands, an angle of the elbows, a pose of the feet.
