VIEW IN MY ROOM
Pareidolia is a psychological phenomenon involving a stimulus (an image or a sound) wherein the mind perceives a familiar pattern of something where none actually exists.

My work is a reference to things that everyone sees but rarely notices. References to the world of the shadows of things. I try to perceive and convey ordinary objects found, for example, at a flea market or in my kitchen, as abstract forms, regardless of their everyday purpose and the word that defines them. I use photography and Photoshop without even imagining the end result. I don’t have a plan, the workflow is not like a straight line connecting point A to point B. Rather, it is like a dream in which seemingly insignificant details move events in unexpected directions. In this regard, I never consider my work complete, as it can change at any moment if left unchecked. When I save my work to the hard disk, I see that it is just a fragment of the process. Therefore, I could call my works “dream fossils”. The works are printed by sublimation technology, when the ink is transferred from the paper to the artificial silk at high temperature and pressure. All works in a single copy only.
