The seagull is a fairly common bird and often not considered "photographically" which in my opinion if immortalized in the right way has its charm. Here it is resumed in flight over the Entella river in the Gulf of Tigullio.

I was born in Catania in 1967. I moved to Liguria for work in 2005, eventually “landing” in Rapallo, where I now live. My photographic journey began in 1997 as a self-taught photographer. Over time, I attended courses and advanced workshops to deepen my knowledge. Throughout these years devoted to photography, I have gained experience across various genres, with a particular interest in street photography, reportage, and conceptual photography with introspective references. In 2015, I became a member of ISP – Italian Street Photography. Thanks to various personal projects and collaborations with ISP, Street Hunters included me in its shortlist of the 20 most influential street photographers of 2016. In 2017, I took part in the 1st Edition of the Italian Photography Triennale – Contemporary Art Foundation, held in Venice in the magnificent setting of Palazzo Cà Zenobio. In 2022, I was admitted to the S.A.C.S. Archive (Sportello per l’Arte Contemporanea della Sicilia) of the Regional Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Palermo. In 2025, I was awarded the honor of Benemerito della Fotografia Italiana by the Italian Federation of Photographic Associations. I occasionally collaborate with Il Secolo XIX and other online newspapers and magazines. I am currently represented by the Saatchi Art Gallery (New York). Pippo Pappalardo, historian and critic from Catania, describes me as follows: “His way of photographing, apparently instinctive and immediate, is in fact a tool for exploring a space and a time of what he likes to define as the photographic soul. Through photography, he conducts a genuine psychological investigation on himself.”
