"NiGHT LiGHT" Nocturnal landscapes: The scene before you transforms over time, with long exposures. Results take one to another world. Elements become more visible as star trails emerge, fog builds or lighting introduced by me, alters the scene. I create atmospheric images that fluidly move from the literal to the metaphorical. I always strive to go beyond simply reveling in what's before me. I'm inspired by Rene Magritte, Edward Hopper, Vincent Van Gogh- among many others. Photographs are shot onto 2.25" film, using vintage and toy medium-format cameras, with exposures for up to 8 hours. (Print sizes from this series range from 6" to 36", for $500. to $3,000.)
