Nevada is home to a great deal of outdoor artworks. THis display is in Rhyolite Nevada, just outside of Death Valley. The white pieces are formed of plaster and fabric which was draped over people to represent the 'Last Supper'. The artist thought they might last a few months, but they have been there for decades! The pink sculpture is called the 'Desert Venus'. I have photographed both of these artworks separately, many times over the years. This time, I saw Venus juxtaposed with the Last Supper, and captured both together.
