About Anthony Dallas Anthony Dallas or Dallas as he is normally referred, is from Dallas, Texas, and was born in 1959. Dallas has been known for his strong sense of artistic expressions and use of multiple medias. At a very young age a middle school teacher at Boude Storey Jr. High also in Dallas, recognized his special gift and arrainged for the ninth grader to joined the prestigious talented and gifted students’ program where he studied college level art, art history, theory, drawing, and painting twice a week after school at Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, Texas. As a youth, Dallas was heavily involved with sports. However, creating art has always been his strongest influence, and a means of solace and escape. Dallas joined the U.S. Navy after high School to pay for College, not realizing that the Navy would give him a multifarious world of influential sights, sounds and experiences to shape how he wanted to create art. He attended the Art Institute of Houston and majored to study graphics to support a means to pursue bringing his dreams to reality. Dallas believed that there is a creative spirit in every soul and that it searches for the right vehicle or medium to be heard, felt, seen, tasted or experienced. The hope is that our art will cause the one who experiences to pause and attempt to understand the message. Dallas has traveled to over twenty-five countries. Nine of which are located in Africa. As a Public Affairs Photojournalist, humanity became an endless subject to inspire and fuel his “Want to.” Dallas views photography as his unique platform to capture images that allows the viewer to start or complete the narrative of the image shown. When it’s your own story, you not only relate to it, you also want others know how it makes you feel. Dallas has had an established professional career as a creative capturing images for public service However at this time in his life, he desires to focus all of his energy presenting treasured images from his travels and creating more with the confluence of fine art and humanity that will be shared with the world.
