Water Planet (BW) Photograph - Limited Edition of 5

I took this photograph on Maracaipe beach in Pernambuco, Brazil. Looking closely at the image, I was inspired to do a digital manipulation work on it. Intuitively, I demarcated a circular area, in the center, where I kept the original photograph. For the rest, I opted for a horizontal linear blur and brightness and saturation adjustments, which gave softness to this region of the photograph. It was then that I felt that I could consider the artwork finished, because I felt that from a simple intervention I had managed to achieve an aesthetic result that left me quite satisfied. In addition, I could see that it was not by chance that I opted for a circular shape, in the center, as this refers to the shape of planet earth and the hatches of ships.
