The print is numbered, signed by the artist and comes with a certificate of authenticity. This print is a limited edition print. The print is manufactured at professional printing labs for Fine-Art-Prints of the highest possible quality. Please allow about two weeks for the production of the print. _______________________________________ This a collection of photo works created by using "strip camera" technology. This technology has been used in the past to record the finish in, for example, at athletics events, horse racing and dog racing. With a 'normal' camera the shutter of the camera opens for a very brief moment, letting light on the film / sensor and exposes it this way. In a strip camera, the very narrow slit-shaped closure is open for a long time, but behind the slot, the film is continuously transported past. As a result, the film is exposed this way and it becomes visible how the observed space viewed through the slot has changed while the film has been transported. Exactly this technology, in digital form, I am using for the series "Space over Time". Thousands of shots of a small image excerpt from a moving object are taken and these thousands of 'one-line photos' are assembled into a single result photo. This project started in 2015 at a flea market in New York City. I had some time left before my return flight to Berlin and bought the book "The Great 'Life' Photographers" at a flea market in Greenwich. It was not until several months later that I came across photographer George Silk in this book. In the 1960s, he did the finish photos for the US American tryouts track & field in Palo Alto - with a so-called "strip camera". After the competitions, he went home, it was Halloween, and took pictures of his children - with this camera, with this technology. I was fascinated by the photos and immediately started experimenting with this technology myself. I wanted to see and show the change of space over time x. I took the first pictures of a turning egg cup on the ki´thcen table. Yes, that looked promising and I could see where it could go. But it was a long way to the first good photo. First of all, I had to design and build my own electronic turntable, developing the right software to handle the huge amount of data, and above all, gaining a lot of experience on which objects and which lighting is suitable. It was a long way, but it was worth the bumby ride. My fascination with this technology is unbroken. Above all, you do not know what the result will be, it is always exciting.

This very special and rare to find magic moment is incredibly fascinating. My motivation though has always been the divine magic of the moments themselves. They are always there, they just need our attention and awareness. I am working as a freelance photographer.
