About The Artwork
I am working on filming in pursuit of the traces of human primordial culture. I worked on the concept of ethnographic images of various countries in Asia, such as Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Nepal, India, and other regions. Jomsom , in the northwest of Nepal, behind the Himalayas, was an area that inspired me a lot. Sometimes I took a break while filming a religious folk festival in Nepal. I went around the village to relax, then I saw a village under the mountain across the street. Villagers walking home after work. They are tired of life, but on the way back to see their family. For a long time, I have been shooting with a focus on humans and rituals. Due to the development of modernization and civilization around the world, the native culture originally brought by humans is rapidly disappearing. The filming approach is attempted with ethnographic images. I am researching and filming the rituals, folklore, festivals and religious secrets of Korea, Japan, Nepal, Indonesia, Bali, Ladakh, and North India
