Born in 1961 in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.Professional press photographer since 1994.Currently covers the fields of entertainment ( film premieres, theatre, ballet and dance, live concerts ) and tennis My pictures are wired both to TopFoto, an international picture library ( voted winner of the 2007 BAPLA Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Industry ), and Backgrid photo agency ( which has an excellent media reputation for producing celebrity images ). I am one of over 40 international based photographers regularly contributing for Xposure, with my pictures being regularly used by leading magazines, newspapers and editorial clients on a worldwide basis. Previously I covered events for the ArenaPal photo agency.Inspired by Sebastio Salgado and a great sunny or moody cloudy day for taking pictures.For grit and determination, no-one can beat Rafael Nadal, who I try to aspire to when I play tennis.Press photography traditionally is a man's world. I am one of only a handful of female press photographers regularly working in this high pressure environment: a challenge which I relish.As a London based press photographer, I am solely responsible for the production, editing, captioning and wiring of my own images to these agencies.Apart from agency work, under my trading name of Depth Of Vision, I have also been privately commissioned to photograph corporate events and portraits for musicians and actors. Historically I have also provided reportage style wedding photography for clients to uniquely convey their "big day".
