Photographic print (C-type). Mounted on artist canvas with stretcher frame. Clear lacquer coat over print. No glass necessary when framed.
Using the technique of repeating lines I placed the guitar in front of the model. Each accentuating the lines of the other. I wanted the guitar to be "worn" like a strapless dress. I used Renaissance "chiaroscuro" lighting There is only a glimpse of the models face so as not to make it into a portrait of a particular woman but an image showing the correlation of the two bodies.
This image was taken with a Hasselblad medium format camera using slide film. The slide was scanned and printed using wet chemistry photographic paper.

This is not an inkjet print. It is traditional photographic paper using wet chemistry. The print is then covered with clear lacquer. Then it is adhered to artist canvas on a stretcher frame. Once framed no glass is required as the lacquer will protect the image.
