"All the flowers of tomorrow are in the seeds of today." My prints are one-offs. I sell them printed on Fuji Chrystal Archive glossy paper, covered with 2 mm of glossy acrylic glass, framed (American box) by solid brown alder (frame thickness 15 mm) for color photos and for black and white photos direct printing on Forex, framed (American box) by solid brown alder (frame thickness 21 mm). The longest side of the print is always 80 cm. I work with White Wall whose quality is recognized by professionals. I believe in the economy of the common good. Therefore I spend $ 600 of each sold photo to a social or environmental association/NPO of the buyers choice. Transparency is dear to me, I will inform the buyer with a payment copy.

Portraitist of flowers, Sven Ahlborn (born in 1969 in Switzerland) lived for 53 years in Switzerland, moved recently to São Luís, a small village on the Vicentina coast in Portugal. Education and training of an inquisitive, open and organoleptic mind through the institution life. Lives his life according to the classic HJP-method: with heart, joy and passion. From time to time he writes reflections on daily life this to reconnect the human being to himself and his wild nature and thus reinforce feminine values because it is they - and beauty - that will save humanity. Married since 1999 and father of a daughter since 2003. Photographer since his early childhood, he has always loved flowers. Flowers are to the earth what stars are to the sky. "efflorescence" wants to show that, despite the atrocities that the media feed us daily, there are everywhere little bits of beauty in our everyday life, on the edge of our windows, in flower beds, on the steps of a staircase or in our gardens. Just open your eyes just a little to see them, to soak in them, to let yourself be carried away. He wishes to bring small nuggets of grace to the contemplator so that he, in turn, becomes as beautiful as a white peony, as light as a rose petal suspended or penetrated by energy like the umbel of the wild carrot. "The essential is invisible to the eye", this is what his parents taught him. Quite a challenge for someone who wishes to share what he "sees". Having the eye is one thing, mastering the technique to restore the soul is the major difficulty of his work. But there are moments of pure happiness where everything is there, spaces suspended in time. His greatest satisfaction is to be able to share them. Most of his images require no staging, no artificial light, no image processing, or very, very little, just what one could do in a darkroom. You don't need any artifice to see what is invisible to the eye... Contemplator, he loves the beauty of flowers, human bodies, nature, landscapes, art and music. He likes books, wine and food for body, soul and spirit.
