These are fictions which, like poetry, rely on metaphor. References, allusions, and analogies create a surreal atmosphere that leads the viewer to another reality.
I assemble different cultural forms in order to stimulate reflection on this subject.
The collage technique makes it possible to condense real traces, which are captured on the road and transform them in traces of memories.
I am very interested in the thesis, that the human being usually remembers only in form of tragments. The own personal memory is then recreated by the brain, which reassembles the fragments in a new way
Recently I work with the digital darkroom, using its possibilities to synthesize to weave disparate materials into a single continuum.
Although my working methods have radically altered, my interests remain the same. The content of my previous work has flowed naturally onto the screen and into the images before you.
