Taken two days before Christmas on a fairly mellow evening flying over the ocean in hopes of capturing the gorgeous sunset that December eve, I was lucky and surprised to find a couple locals making use of the moderate surf and catching some waves. There weren't many as they floundered about waiting for a set, but I scored in capturing one of the few rides as the orange glowing sky reflected off the water.
