Simone Luchetti is an Italian photographer whose work moves at the intersection of intimacy, aesthetics, and social awareness. Through a predominantly autobiographical lens, he explores the human body — especially the female body — not as an object, but as a living, acting presence. His images seek to liberate the body from cultural constraints, reclaiming its expressive power and rejecting traditional objectification. Working primarily with large-format cameras and Polaroid film, Luchetti embraces the slowness and materiality of analog photography. This deliberate process becomes part of his narrative, inviting the viewer into a space where vulnerability and dignity coexist. His work reflects a poetic inquiry into the body as a bearer of memory and meaning, and as a space of resistance — where gender, identity, and presence are negotiated beyond appearances.
