This image was taken at Lake Tekapo situated within Mackenzie Country in New Zealand. Autumn is a magical time in the Mackenzie Country. There is a two week window where the crystal clear glacial lakes are dotted with yellow trees and there is a sharp contrast between yellow and blue everywhere. Anyone who has been lucky enough to travel around the region at this time of year will be instantly translated back to their travels or encouraged to experience it for themselves.
