ABOUT THE ARTWORK

In this digital creation, I focused on the interplay between simplicity and complexity within urban fashion. Captured in stark black and white, the contrasting stripes of the skirt and the bold design of the shoes speak to personal expression on city streets. It's a celebration of individuality in the monochrome palette of daily life, aiming to evoke a sense of uniqueness and style against the backdrop of the urban environment. This artwork brings a dynamic, fashionable vibe to any space. NYC Street Photography - 2016 - Hand Signed - Certificate of Authenticity - professionally produced fine art print - exhibition shadow box frame - wood - white - two inch border exhibiting artist signature - image size 22 x 24 inches Ready to hang!

I’m primarily a street photographer and fortunate that I have the streets of New York City for inspiration. I was raised in the South Bronx and am of Puerto Rican descent. I walk and explore the many parts of the city with my Leica Q hoping to discover “frame-able moments”. I try to express the variety of what the street offers in my photography – the bizarre, the beautiful, the brutal. I find that this type of photography suits my passion as the subject matter is always diverse. In many ways I feel as though I’m still learning to see and to me that’s most important. The ability to stand back and absorb a moment is something many of us rarely do. If you open yourself up to that – the observance of things – there is beauty there to capture.
