About The Artwork

L'heure bleue A special hour between night and day, when the black sky turns a magnificent inky blue. The hour when the smell of flowers are at their best, a silent moment full of poetry, an hour that birds love to enjoy in silence. A delicate moment that photographers and poets appreciate... a divine perfume that I have worn since my 18th birthday. Create by Guerlain in 1912 for his muse. 7 Prints on fine art Pearl Hahnemühle, ink jet. signed, numbered, dated, comes with a certificate of authenticity. Print on fine art Pearl Hahnemühle, ink jet. Prints in this size are in limited editions of eight, signed, numbered and dated, and come with a certificate of authenticity. Black & white.

I grew up in France and move to New York in the beginning of the 90's. I enrolled at the "New York School of Visual Arts" to study photography. Photography seemed the best way to catch all that the amazing city had to offer... the light, the architecture and the great cultural mix. Movies had been a great inspiration. Telling stories thru images. Opportunities to meet and photograph a multitude of fascinating personalities. My artistic approach is to tell stories. Initially inspired by the sacred woman & man. I wanted to show the beauty, sensuality of women, with a feminine view. "A hymn to women and their duality". Artist photographer, journalist, I made many encounter who supported my approach of independent woman. I wish to transmit these values with my photographs and texts. To be proud to be a woman, wild, strong feminine and full of kindness. Some human like to put you in boxes. I don't fit in boxes. “My own personal Tattoo”, portraits & stories is my first personal work exposed in Paris and in Arles France. Reveals personalities who touch me, moved by the richness of the meeting with these unique personalities. Work against jugement of the tattooed soul. Don't juge people until your know their stories. It's also my story, after an intense emotion i had to tattoo myself, but first i wanted to understand why, so i started to photograph tattooed people & interview it was a great adventure for 7 years. To be continue...
