Detailed architectural illustration from the dome of St Paul’s Cathedral looking out towards Ludgate Hill and the Strand, London. This limited edition handmade silk screen print features an iridescent gold sky. The original drawing took five months to complete and looks out over London from Sir Christopher Wren's masterpiece, St Paul's Cathedral. The artwork captures London's old winding streets, the River Thames and Waterloo Bridge. The colours have all been mixed by hand using the highest quality, non-toxic Lascaux Studio Bronze ink. Each print is signed and numbered by the artist and measures 59.4cm x 84.9cm.

Will Clarke’s illustrated prints of architectural landmarks are immediately recognisable. Born and raised in London, Will remains passionate about the changing nature of the urban landscape. With a love for iconic architecture, he has a particular interest in buildings with historical resonance and character. Some time ago Will undertook a six-month drawing of London, as seen from the dome of St Paul’s Cathedral. The illustration he created inspired him to undertake a series of architectural drawings, and he has been fascinated by architecture and the urban landscape ever since. Screen-printing, more than any other technique, gives Will the precision and control he needs to reproduce his very detailed line drawings. To this detail he likes to add bright blocks of colour and an element of abstraction – none of his drawings are exact renderings of what he sees – in order to produce urban scenes that are unique to his style. All of his original works are hand-drawn, then each edition screen-printed by Will in his studio. As well as regularly taking on private and commercial commissions, Will has also exhibited at a number of shows in London and across the UK. High profile commissions and clients include the Southbank Centre, Royal Academy of Arts and the NHS.
