Chip's diner. 10 colour screen print on 300gsm Somerset satin. Edition of 10. 53x25cm. 2020. Just south of Inglewood central LA, Chip's diner was my favourite of the eateries we visited and photographed, still a local, neighbourhood joint. An old school leather booth and a huevos rancheros for your breakfast while you watch 8 lanes of LA traffic driving by. Perfect. This is a belter of a print, one of those prints that became a real problem child during the printing, but with some tough love and dedication a real gem has emerged beneath a perfect blue Californian sky.
