Donet Let Go - Limited Edition of 1 Print

Im a self taught artist working in screen print and also in digital collage. Part one of the Connected Thoughts concept is based on imagined landscapes which fuses together photographs drawings, found imagery and textures which are then built up as multi layered digital collage pieces which are then either screen printed onto various mixed media surfaces or printed as one of a kind fine art giclee prints. Part two of Connected Thoughts concept takes its inspiration from the textures found in nature, wether that be the textures found in the woods from the bark of a tree to the twists and turns of the branches that weave through the woods or alternatively walking along the beach and all the various textures found in the stones to the view out at see or the cliffs that surround the beach its self. All of these things come together to create these two different elements of Connected Thoughts work in either the imaginary landscape pieces or the pieces that are simply exploring textures. Working predominantly in tones of grey and maybe adding one colour into the work to juxtapose the subtle tones of grey the work is a blend of transparencies which build to create these original pieces of work.
