The ISLA works are part of my long term series called Islas Hundidas (or Sunken Islands) featuring topographical, abstract etchings of imaginary islands. I use various intaglio techniques such as drypoint, marbling, hard-, soft-, and white ground etching, aquatint, and embossment in making the textures on the print matrix which is made of copper. Medium: Marble and hard ground etching, drypoint, and aquatint on paper Year: 2019 Limited Edition of 10 Made with Charbonnel Etching ink on 300gsm Hahnemüle Warm White paper Prints are signed and annotated on the back and can be signed in the front by request. No frame or hanging hardware included. Shipped in a tube with an authentication certificate.
