Original Drawing: illustration, drawn with Winsor & Newton Series 150 Bamboo Brushes, Pen & Ink. Size is: 18"H"X14"W. Signed and numbered on a Limited Edition of, 1 of 10, with certificate of authenticity. My Limited Editions prints, is printed on Coveris GFPHOTO photo-realistic paper 7mil. Inspired by the amazing master Rembrandt. I chose this medium because in this case my drawing of, "Lunchtime", I thought it would lend itself in showing my technical rendering ability of the use of fast detail, while drawing this image at a quick pace giving the feel of action and movement. Just by using my Winsor & Newton Series 150 Bamboo Brushes, Pen & Ink , I was able to give my line work a three dimensional feel of perspective, and contrast. This drawing was inspired by great masters like Rembrandt, is where my line / wash drawing inspiration and imagination came from. Over the years I had given a great amount of time studying these masters multi techniques of there technical dexterity of light and shadow, contour lines, etc. Also mastering the very important knowledge of perspective, gives my work the illusion of 3D, that pulls the viewer into my world of art. The goal of all of my efforts behind my work, is for my artwork to jump of the wall, out to the on looker, to entertain there visual mind with stimulating symbolic fascination.
