ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Monument II was part of an explorative series on the intersection of spirit and symbol. The piece was printed from a single piece of glass that had been painted and printed many times over with no cleaning between prints. The glass builds up layers of paint and subtly blends multiple prints, exposing the whole process to chance and history.
