Real Events are superimposed in our memory by individual perception and emotion. This thought is my starting Point and I implement it my series "Combine:Reverse". The pictures are edited, large format, analog and digital photographs. I then do further work on these photographs in a painting process. From the daily life in my photographs, I move on to the gestic painting of abstract expressionism. The photographs serve as a carrier for the abstract painting. Everyday scenes from anywhere in the world are superimposed by emotion and sponaneity. This series is for me a bridge and connection between my work as an art photographer and my work as a performance painter. It also hits popart, is decorative and people love to live with these pieces of art.
