Art Description

Printmaking: Screenprinting on Paper.

Inspired by the movement of strong and powerful women who weren’t afraid to
walk tall and proud, manifesting their thoughts, fighting for their rights at the
recent Women’s march in Washington DC.
The title refers to an infamous audio tape featuring then-GOP candidate Donald Trump as he detailed his unusually aggressive approach to flirtation “Grab 'em by the pussy.”, not only that, the artwork plays on the different meanings of the word pussy, and the fact that it is often used in a form of a punchline, and has a negative meaning, referring to someone who is weak.
