SER#5 - 4/10 Limited Edition of 10 FineArt Prints using Epson UltraChrome HDR pigment inks on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308g/m², 100% cotton, matt, smooth textured paper, finished with a hand-torn deckled edge. Both pigments and the acid-free paper guarantee the best color depth and highest age resistance qualities. Each print is signed, numbered, and comes with a Certification of Authenticity. This Series started in San Sebastian, where I was fascinated by the rhythmic movement of the sea against its cliffs. More than representing, I want to evoke places of consciousness and meditation similar to those created by the limits between the constant moving liquid and the solid matter.

Alexandre Liberato is a Portuguese visual artist based in Berlin whose work spans a wide range of media, including painting, drawing, photography, and video. He holds a degree in Architecture from the Technical University of Lisbon, 2005, and attended CREART - Artistic and Creative Research Labs in Barcelona, 2017. His work has been exhibited internationally in Berlin at KINDL - Center for Contemporary Art, Gallery Heike Arndt DK, Hošek Contemporary, 48 Stunden Neukölln Festival, and Projektraum 145; in Barcelona at Espacio 88; as well as at the Thessaloniki Queer Art Online Festival. In 2019, KONVENT.ZERO, Berga, Barcelona selected Alexandre for its artist-in-residence program. Alexandre Liberato’s project focuses on geometry, the body, and the creation of an abstract metaphysical space to contemplate the sublime- a sensibility that touches everyone equally, transforming them from the inside. The conscious emancipation he seeks in the entire spectrum of his work is not limited to LGBTQ+ people but aims to emancipate masculinity from toxic old ideas of the past.
