Hi there, my name is Nicolien Fiere. I am a paper-art artist and freelance fashion designer. I graduated from the Artemis Fashion Academy in Rotterdam. I have a passion for color, texture, composition and light contrasts. When I look at a picture I see all the layers and a Paper-Art appears in my mind. I like nothing more than to grab the scissors and turn my thoughts into a new piece of art. When I'm working on a paper-Art is like looking through a different lens. My Paper-Art is made up of several layers of paper, such as old books, magazines and other types of paper. I only make use of paper, scissors and glue. I do not use any paint or pencil. I sell limited edition prints on special fine-art paper of each artwork. Each print is signed and numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
