About The Artwork

Verde Passage Monotype 21x26 Uneven borders Signed 2024 Uneven borders Verde Passage portrays a wooden double green door set against the traditional, intricately patterned tiles of Lisbon. This artwork captures the historical and visual essence of Lisbon's architecture through the use of monotype and acrylic painting on Bristol paper. The detailed tiles reflect Lisbon’s rich cultural heritage. My technique involves creating a gel print as the base, followed by precise hand-painting to bring out the textures and colors of the tiles and woodwork. The piece is based on my photography.
