ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Clay sculpture with integrated metal gears, finished with black and silver acrylic paint and patinated. From an early age I wrote my son stories in Russian, one of which was about the biomechanics of the human body using the example of automobiles. In the course of this I have dealt extensively with the former subject, which has inspired me to create three works: The representation of the dichotomy of the human body in terms of aesthetics and evocation of emotions in the human being itself, and in relation to the human as a machine, the enthroned above all other machines in the image of which the machine is designed.

Hi my name is Elena , i am an artist and choreographer living in Kiel . I masterfully combine figurative , floral ,portret and animals painting. In Kiel I am the owner of two dance schools and my artwork is inspired by my passion for dancing, merging the charm and grace of a dancer, thus giving the paintings a very special, very sensual touch. In addition, through years of experience with body control as well as an expert´s view for body language, both which I acquired in the long years as a trainer, choreographer and dancer myself, I breathe life into my paintings in a highly artistic way. When I finish a painting, I am ready for it to find its new home. I have had my time in creation and development, and when it’s finished, my time with it is over, and I know it was created for someone else’s enjoyment. I love what I do. I love creating artwork, and I’m proud of the images I create. Beautiful, meaningful images that speak to individuals as much as they spoke to me.
