My aim is to highlight the organized chaos of the natural world. This piece represents both the beauty and defensive nature of it. Its armored skin and colorful display remind us all of the balance that must be struck to be able to thrive and survive. Be beautiful, but stay strong. Attract attention, but be cautious. Under the right conditions we all develop armor.
