ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I have been sculpting figures, and occasionally couples, since the mid-eighties. This couple has similar attributes to many of my pieces; in order to maximize on material and gesture I positioned them diagonally, with extended arms, making them appear to be in “Ascension”. Not a bad bit of imagery for optimism in relationship, I think
