ꟷ I see my work as artistic research. The creation of art is non-linguistic thinking. Artistic work can access areas of the brain where information is stored in a way that cannot be verbalized. ꟷ In the process of dealing with a question, I give these fragments, which cannot be grasped with language, a form and transfer them into the space outside of myself. So that they become communicable in order to be able to be a position and disposition for others. ꟷA s the village child of a working-class family from the Ore Mountains, comics were my only access to art. ꟷA t school, I only liked geometry, as it seemed highly aesthetic to me even then. ꟷ Three days after I decided to burn all my canvases in a pile, I was invited to my first solo exhibition. I've been at it ever since. ꟷF or many years, art was done on a small scale alongside my job in addiction support. Today, thinking and doing need more space. ꟷ In addition to my studio, which can be visited, I am constantly represented by Tina Warmuth and the Studio for Appliet and Contemporary Art. ꟷ We are currently working on an exhibition concept for new works.
