About The Artwork
I am originally from Texas but have lived in Los Angeles for over 20 years. This is a view of Austin, TX, a city I lived in for a few years before moving to California. My sculptural work is piñata-based. This piece is from my Painting Piñata series where I layer and blend hand-cut crepe paper to 'paint' on the surface of the painting form.
