'And all at once, summer collapsed into fall'- Oscar Wilde Nature being my major source of inspiration, I often recreate the patterns found in my surroundings. We don't get to experience Autumn season in this part of the world. But the autumn season and its colors has hugely inspired me.. It is a season which teaches us that change can be beautiful! 'Autumn Equinox' - A unique wall sculptural artwork, created with a beautiful texture of painted upcycled plastics. Each textural elements has been handmade and created using repurposed plastics. Individually hand-cut textures had been dyed/stained using self developed techniques resembling the result of fused glass. which is then assembled on a stretched canvas. The interesting glass like textures will create colored reflections according to the light source. The sculptural artwork will be framed in white box frame and will be signed in front. Certificate of authenticity will be attached. Project - 'For the planet' : I started doing upcycled artworks since 2016, after a pledge to work for a sustainable planet. I use repurposed plastics to create the textural elements in my artwork. I am so proud to be able to work for this cause through my artworks, and indirectly my collectors also get to join this art journey.

Swapna Namboodiri create assemblages, installations and sculptural artworks using mixed mediums including found objects and repurposed plastics. Her art practice is inextricably intertwined with sustainability. Nature being her favorite subject, she try to embrace the beauty of textures and patterns around her and create a visual treat in her works using reclaimed plastics. Her works often reflects the Japanese philosophy ‘Wabi-Sabi’- to embrace the beauty of imperfections. She embraces the imperfect organic shapes created by the hand-cut single-use plastics and highlights the textures in her artworks, making it a unique collectible piece of art!
