Sculpture produced in wood, who was inspired by the book Vidas Secas (Barren Lives) by the writer Graciliano Ramos. Inspired by this emblematic book, the sculpture Baleia brings us feelings of sweetness and melancholy. His thin features carry the anguish and drama caused by the long periods without rain in the northeast region of Brazil, which cause misery, hunger and suffering to the local people, called sertanejos.
