About The Artwork

Second of the 8 works of the "BKT" series made with the paper cut in relief on the wood. The techinica I used is the halftone technique. This series was born in 2019 among various researches, attempts, study of the technique and its affinity. Furthermore, this series represents a profound personal reflection on human relationships in general all strengthened by the pandemic we are experiencing. the works in question can be interpreted in different ways both and this is what I would like a personal interpretation of those who turn their backs or simply those who look at a new horizon to happen with the viewer, or even with the mask we are unable to recognize anyone. I leave it to you to interpret what you see

Born 37 years ago in Poland, raised in Rome. Since I was a child I have been interested in art in general. Initially to oil painting. I attended the academy of fine arts in rome but the air of freedom and desire to experiment freely had the best so in the education sheet you will not find anything official. After various jobs of all kinds I embarked on a "career" as a photographer which lasted about 12 years and now I consider it officially over. Photographing for me was simply a faster means of expressing what I had inside and it was also a way to earn my bread without breaking my back. Having said that, I currently consider myself to have grown artistically as I have experimented as many as I could I have collected as many fruits as possible and what you see is the result of my short but not very short but certainly interesting path.
