About The Artwork
Belfie: a 'bottom selfie' - a photographic self-portrait featuring the buttocks, usually posted by female celebrities on social media networks. This series of "Butt Portraits" are made by forming thin sheet metal into expressive gluteus maximae. Colored with automotive paints and oil pastels, and sealed with clear coats of epoxy resin, these "Butts" are built to last generations. This particular piece is built from steel so it has a little more weight than the others which are built from aircraft aluminum. I'll include all necessary hanging hardware for brick, drywall, or going directly into studs. Please contact me with any questions.
